Immigrants Targeted: Extremist Rhetoric Moves into the Mainstream

Unlike the Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazis, who make no attempt to hide their racism and bigotry, these anti-immigrant groups and coalitions often use more subtle language to demonize immigrants and foreigners. They are frequently quoted in the media, have been called to testify before Congress, and often hold meetings with lawmakers and other public figures. However, under the guise of warning people about the impact of illegal immigration, anti-immigrant advocates often invoke the same dehumanizing, racist stereotypes as hate groups. And increasingly, they do not make a distinction between illegal and legal immigrants.

Outsourcing….I don’t like it either. But it IS legal and it occurs because the Americans who own stocks want the companies to have the highest possible return, which comes from making the most profit. When that doesn’t happen….then the companies outsource.

Unions are NOT helpful in this situation. UAW would rather see GM go out of business then take wage cuts. No wonder the Japanese auto makers are kicking our butts! They make a better, cheaper product.

Its awfully complicated, no question. And it isn’t anywhere quite as simple or single issued as you make it.

Millions of Americans seem to have problems understanding that many of our politicians have sold their allegiance to special interests who help them get elected, and reward them after they leave politics. This is what happens when politicians are allowed to violate their oath to the Constitution. The result is corruption and betrayal.

A company is not in business to employ Americans. It is in business to make a profit. And your premise that only CEOs reap the benefits of profits is inaccurate. Anyone invested in a company also benefits from the profits via dividend payments and higher stock prices. Pension plans are greatly rewarded when the companies that they are invested in post profits.

I would be more willing to support your American only pledge if the US government would get off the back of corporate America and allow them to compete here at home vice overseas.

One can then donate generously for poor Iraqi’s and Afghanistan’s too, one need to get them back to live a normal life and pull them out of poverty.

_______ snuck across the border for a better life. He was able to get a job at a factory in the garment district downtown. His wife comes across the border a few months after him, with 2 of their children but leave one behind. They vow to send money. One child is 8 yrs old the other 3. The 8 year old must be enrolled in public school but they can not come up with documents so they have them doctored and made up (illegal). The 8 year old does not know English but the school district is mandated to do everything possible for this kid. Since the dad legally can not get a paycheck though he makes good money under the table the state is required to give the child FREE breakfast and lunch at school.
The 3 yr old is given FREE preschool, and speech lessons to get to the average 3 yr old development. When a child gets sick they head to the local urgent care or ER and can receive FREE medical care.

Now if it was just _______, one guy in a million then we do our best for another human being, another family. But now take that and look a city like Los Angeles, San Diego, San Antonio or Brownsville. Think of the states that are in the biggest financial crisis. Granted this happens in small town America too, but not at the alarming numbers in these large cities where they can blend in.

My example….. I live in Los Angeles, I have my Bachelors degree. I have worked in public schools for 5 years. I see the paper work, I know who is here illegally. Most jobs in our classifieds state: NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, Bilingual a MUST.
So whether Spanish or Mandarin, if you are qualified but can not speak the language you do not get a job.

A blog is a type of software that helps you post (display) small articles on the web without having to set up a website. Most software for blogging are free.

What’s the point of blogging? Well, you can start talking about a specific topic eg beahc vacations. The you promote your blog and get traffic (visitors) to it and build a relationship with your readers.

Then if yor recommend a product or a holiday package from a company some of your readers may buy. If you are an affiliate for tht company, when somone buys you get a commission. The company pays you directly.

You can do affiliate markeitng with or without blogging. There are a huge number of ways.

Can you make “quick” money, from affiliate markeitng? Yes and no. It is possible to make “quick” money but not for someone totally new.

First you need to learn about affiliate marketing. Do some searches. Do not join any prigrams. Just learn from the info already published and there’s a ton of it out there.

And they continue to jump from one program to another. Literally millions of people go on program hopping for 2 or 3 years and spend thousands each and earn nothing.

Don’t be one of those. Just learn, apply, monitor the results, make little (but very important) improvements and monitor again. This continuous process willl make rich beyond your imagination and you don’t need any schemes or programs or tricks or shortcuts (that don’t exist).

Bill Clinton (regardless of his personal life) was the only President in my awareness to have a major surplus and care about the everyday people. Don’t even start about Bush and all his red numbers. Hillary is no Bill. I highly doubt Obama has the backbone to take care of business. And Republicans only care about Big Business, so, we the little people might be screwed.

The majority of all Unions have been giving and giving (no more retirement benefits, complete diminishment of wages, paying for rising health care costs) while Mr. Big takes more and more. Most factory workers can hardly afford the gas for their car, let alone groceries, clothes, rent/house payment, utilities…. and that’s not even the ones with kids!

How is importing all our needs/wants cheaper, when the cost to buy those things is still going up? Simple… we’re paying to make sure the Big Shots can keep their Lexus, Porches, Yukons, etc. Or their $500,000 homes, country club memberships, home theaters, insert-incredibly-expensive-frivolous-need here they can dream of. While the little people continue to struggle and make due with rising health costs, unstable housing markets, and that nice little threat of their job going to Mexico or China, they continue to live the good life, and no amount of bueracracy is going to change Big Business’ mind.

You could make a case that fast food, alcohol and other unhealthy products are illegal, sue them, to seize their assets. You could make Wal-Mart an illegal corporation, to allow small business to flourish.

Since, the democratic party only has socialism to offer, there is little else, “big government” can offer.

Question for you, comrade: How in the world can an ideology that places handicaps on a capitalist economy, to make it inefficient, so you can over-throw it with socialism, think that small business owners, who are risk takers, people who earn their own living and don’t depend on government, would choose your ideology? Community college/online schools are usually very frowned upon by employers; they do not carry their weight on paper.

If you have employees/customers in your home regularly and you want to ensure that they cant sue you personally, then incorporating may be advantageous. But generally, the only advantage of incorporating is to limit liability.

You can take all deductions that a corporation can, by just filing a schedule C (sole proprietorship) with your tax return. You can deduct all ordinary and necessary business expenses. You may also be able to deduct your home office expenses if you conduct business there and meet with clients there.

Be sure to document all business expenses and use a separate bank account with debit card. This way all of your income and expenses are in one spot and on one statement, in case of audit. When you want to pay yourself, just write a check to yourself and deposit into your regular checking account.

Be sure to also write down all mileage in a log, so that you can deduct your auto expenses.

People would rather outsource the jobs, then to have the Mexicans “take them”. But when jobs are outsourced, we are only sending our money to other countries, and those companies don’t pay any US taxes like the Illegal immigrants do. Don’t bother wasting time looking at survey sites because they make their money from thousands of people paying to sign up each month and only send out maybe 100 3cent surveys every month. Nobody ever makes any real money from it except the sites sending the surveys out.

And with blogging, even if your blog is really popular, your money is still only coming in from having a bunch of google adsense links smeared everywhere that nobody really clicks. Most people make maybe $20/month with it, because you’re only being paid a couple cents per click when someone does finally click on one of the links.

You should also avoid things like rebate processing or data entry cause those are usually scams.

Don’t get hooked into the paypal send-a-dollar pyramid schemes of the mlm (multi-level-marketing) schemes because in a lot of causes they’re not only scams but actually illegal. The people running them just know it’s really unlikely anyone will report them.

It’s not always all that hard (you just have to look at what other people are doing and copy it) but it takes hours of sitting infront of the computer every day. SO… I would trust positions posted by your college/university. They should have an office of Career Services with job and internship postings available - check out what was posted last year in terms of internships as next summer’s will likely not be posted until January.
