Is outsourcing my call center offshore really going to benefit me?

outsourcing
I own a business that relies on call center for customer service and I have also applied for a high risk merchant account offshore. Can i really reduce my overhead costs and total expenses by outsourcing it to other countries in Asia?

All I have to say is that outsourcing is killin this country giving all of our (american) jobs away to save a few bucks it makes me sick in turn you make me sick for even proposing this KEEP AMERICAN JOBS IN AMERICA

Yes, but why would you want to? To save some bucks? C’mon…let some Americans keep their jobs!

Apparently so, AT&T EarthLink, etc. all outsource their jobs and the $$$ bottom-line is not the only reason.

Americans do not produce as the Asiaians do. With high cost and Union, it is cheaper in the long run to say goodbye to the American worker that is more concern about her sick leaves days than her workday.

To keep your call center in the states so some lazy American can have a job she hates and slough off is a bad for your business investment.

Show me Americans that want to work and are loyal then maybe I would hire them until then I am hiring off shore people.

    Best of Luck,

Yes you can but there are several ways you can reduce your costs and still run an efficient business. While Americans complain they’re losing their jobs to Asians, American business owners are in favor of outsourcing because it saves them NOT a few bucks, but more than half of the overhead costs. However, the quality of labor sometimes suffers too, unless outsourced employees are intensively trained to perform quality service. It’s an economic phenomenon that cannot be avoided and it’s closing the gap between rich and poor countries. It gives more job opportunities to less developed countries. Whether it hurts the American economy is still in question. People will make money when they can, and outsourcing is just one of the most feasible ways to do it.
